"What a fantastic evening you gave to our members last week! We were thoroughly entertained and learnt so much about the customs around our countryside. It was great to hear that so many annual events that had been lost over time are now being resurrected and are very popular again."
(WI group, Bedfordshire)
"Monday evening was so pleasant with comfortable music to join in with and odd snippets of old customs that we have all come across over the years in one way or another. They were such an unassuming couple and I liked their style."
(Local History Society, Buckinghamshire)
Our Guest Speakers, Barry and Gill Goodman, were very professional with their presentation and very warm with their manner. They shared many interesting facts about customs, some very old, some newer, that are enjoyed by the English the length and breadth of our country, answering a number of our questions at the end of their session.
